CJOC - TV 1974 Lethbridge - Newsmen

The CJOC news team in 1974 was "First with the News in Southern Alberta" doing the news, sports and weather on both CJOC AM Radio and CJOC Television.

Bill Matheson worked at CJOC Lethbridge, Alberta in the 1970's and left to do a talk show on CJCA Radio, Edmonton and the weather on ITV News. (died age of 80 on September 2006 after lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease).

Randy Spencer worked at CJOC for 5 years and in 1979 got a job at the Crowsnest Pass. After 37 years he retired in November of 2016.

John Scott Black started at CJOC-TV in Lethbridge in the early 1960's. He was also an instructor at the Mount Royal College in the mid 1960's and later the News Director at CHQR, Calgary from the mid 1960's to early 1970's. He is now deceased.
