The CJME News Cruiser was seen all over Regina, Saskatchewan including some of the surrounding areas. It was used by the news team when driving to locations for interview as well by the announcers at special events.

PHOTO : The CJME News Cruiser was on location at the Regina Air-show in 1975. Many of the announcers (many DJ's) were broadcasting clips of the event through-out the show. "I remember interviewing some of the fans, as to what they thought of the show, and then when it was my turn to do a live cut-in on the radio, I would talk for a bit and then play the clip from the tape recorder ", Chuck Connors.

The Snowbirds were officially designated the "Canadian Forces Air Demonstration Team" in January of 1975.
