Joey Massingham FSJ Flyers
Massingham becomes first Flyer to win Gentlemanly Player Award.
A high standard of play coupled with a clean style has earned Joey Massingham the Most Gentlemanly Player Award.
In winning the award, Massingham becomes the first Flyer in history to win the award.
Massingham had only six penalty minutes this season while compiling 5-11-16 points. His career totals are 61-92-153 points in 105 games played, including 101 PIMs but Massingham has only compiled 14 PIMs in the last two seasons played with the Flyers and Dawson Creek Canucks.
Massingham won the vote by one point (16-15) over three-time winner Ty Wiebe of the Grimshaw Huskies, who won the award three straight years from 2016-17 to 2018-19. Valleyview Jet Jared Burnett was third with 12 points and Dawson Creekâs Sam Brennan fourth with 10 points.
