In 1975 a lot of people knew that Mel Corey had a dream of working at a radio station in Hawaii. He was doing afternoons playing the hits on CJME AM Regina and one day he got the call. His dream came true and was off to Hawaii. After 3 months, he was eager to come back to CJME.

In 1979 he was using the name Buster BoDean, working at 980 CKGM AM Radio in Montreral.
