Scott Metcalfe left Ched for Toronto. He worked at CJCL-AM (FAN 590) and became news director. Later, Scott became news director of 680 News an all news radio station. (formerly known as CFTR-AM) 680 NEWS |

C.R. Nichols was one of the newsmen at 630 CHED Edmonton in the mid 1970's. He later worked at CKNG-FM (known as 92.5 Joe FM Edmonton). 2008 he was on iNews 880 AM (CHQT-AM) working with Bob Layton also a former CHED newsman. |

Elaine Macdonald delivered the News on 630 CHED. She has worked at CHML Hamilton, CHUM Toronto CKEY Toronto and CISS-FM Toronto. 2008 she is publisher of Opinion 250, a website from Prince George, where Elaine first started her career at CKPG-AM
After 630 CHED News, Randy Kilburn worked in public relations. He became a media relations specialist and media spokesperson for Captial Health, Edmonton Police Service as well as the Emergency Response Department and the City's Transportation and Streets department plus more. Randy works part time doing PR work as well as voicing radio and TV commercials. ( 2008)
