Edmonton, Alberta

Edmonton was waking up to the Wes Montgomery Morning show for several years. Wes started as an announcer at CKYL-AM Peace River in the late 1950's. He moved on to CHED in the mid 1060's as Sports Director and later became the Morning Man.

Wes could ad-lib a sports caste as if he had all the information in front of him.

He left in 1981 for CKRA-FM, then CISN-FM and did the morning show at CFRN-AM and CFCW-AM until 2005. Died April 25, 2005.
