In 1978 Wally Everett, General Manager left and Gord Pearcy took his position. (Gord spent 43 years with CFGP when he retired) All the rest of the staff pictured here continued working at CFGP in 1978 when Ken Connors arrived.

Jack Soars did his Open Line show until he retired. In 2010, now in his 90's still takes his daily walk.

Fran Tanner was the voice of play-by-play hockey action for many years at CFGP. He also took on a sales position at the radio station. It wasn't long after he left CFGP that he passed away.

Don Lindsay was an announcer for years at CFGP, and then took the sales position at CFGP. (2006 living in Grande Prairie selling northern BC radio stations in the Grande Prairie market.)

Peter Hall started his career in Peace River, and later took a position on-air at CFGP. Years later he worked at CJXX in Grande Prairie and was still doing his show when he passed away at the age of 62 years.

Cass Remple, the accountant as CFGP, is also no longer with us.
