March 2009 -Eastside Mario's closed its doors in Grande Prairie after 6 years of serving its American Italian specialty. Eastside Mario's first opened in Grande Prairie in the latter part of 2002 and was the first business to open in the West Side Plaza where now stand a number of hotels and other businesses. It was located between the Podollan Inn and the Holiday Inn on 100 Avenue.
