2011-2012 UPDATE:

Oct 2011- Two defencemen have been added to the Storm team. Kristopher Dalton (former Spruce Grove Saints) and Chad Roorda (Victoria native).
Sept 2011: It has been confirmed that the Storm will have a captain and four assistants this season. Mitch Neumeier is team captain with Caylen Walls, Taylor Cote are assistants and now Ryan Hamberg and Matt Cumming have been appointed assistants as well.

Aug 2011: First round of cuts have been made with 28 players remain standing. Roster has now 9 defencemen, 16 forwards and 3 goaltenders. Lots of new faces on the ice as only 10 of the 28 players are returnees.

The coach and general manager of the Grande Prairie Storm is Blain Bablitz. Also on the bench this season will be assistant coach Kelly Coulter, and Shawn Martin, trainer Marc Beaudoin, goaltender coach Jamie McCaig and head scout Chantz Matter.

Fall Camp for the Storm takes place August 24, 25, 26, 27, 2011.

2009-2010 AJHL Awards
AJHL 2009-2010 Most Valuable Player was awarded to Cody Kunyk of Sherwood Park Crusaders. Both Zahn Raubenheimer of the Grande Prairie Storm and Bryce Williamson of the St Albert Steel won the Scoring Champion - Ernie Love Trophy. The Top Goaltender was Travis Rolheiser of the Spruce Grove.
Vincenzo Marozzi and Travis Rolheiser of the Spruce Grove Saints won the Top Team Golatenders - Reebok/CCM Top Team Goaltenders Award. Rookie of the Year - Dick White Trophy was awarded to Dillon Simpson a defenceman with the Spruce Grove Saints. Outstanding Defenceman - W.G. (Bill) Scott Memorial Trophy was Matthew Register of the Bonnyville Pontiacs. Most Dedicated Player - Don McNabbe Memorial Trophy was awarded to Nate Fleming of the Spruce Grove Saints. The Stewy Stewart Memorial Trophy was won by Evan Warner of the Drumheller Dragons. Coach of the Year was Steve Hamilton of the Spruce Grove Saints.
