During the Grande Prairie Election, October 2010, DiscoverThePeaceCountry.com video taped and posted videos of each candidate who spoke at the Grande Prairie Chamber of Commerce Forum and within two weeks, had over 3,000 views of the videos. Another company also video taped the same candidates at the same event and posted them on YouTube. In the same two weeks, those videos were viewed only 38 times. (stats as per YouTube)
Interesting Statistics: 70% of YouTube's registered users are from the United States and of those 50% are under the age of 20 years. The most popular category that people watch is Music Videos. The Videos on DiscoverThePeaceCountry.com target people in this region as well as including ages 20 to 60+ with the content it provides.
