MUSREAU LAKE, ALBERTA - DiscoverThePeaceCountry.com

I never fished at Musreau Lake. I stopped by a couple of times to take pictures and saw people fishing, but never catching anything. There was a time that they stopped stocking this lake so the amount of Rainbows left is very questionable.. Has anybody caught any?

Margo Hervieux of Alberta Parks, has informed us that there have been some upgrades at Musreau. A new group camping area has been built and the boat launch has been moved to a second day use area (the old group use) to reduce congestion at the beach. These changes will hopefully improve everyone’s visits.

There are no fish in the lake to my knowledge, save for the outlet stream during a closed season, and burbot. Unless poaching or ling are on your menu, don't bother wetting a line. Mind you, its a nice lake for boating.

Its June 8/10 Need to know if new boat launch at Musreau Lake will have deep enough water to launch a 22 ft stern drive boat. Need about 3.5 ft of water before trailer drops off end of concrete pad. Water levels low at most other lakes.
