SIMONETTE RIVER, ALBERTA - DiscoverThePeaceCountry.com

I hear this area is good for having fun on the water. A lot of people bring tubes and other floating devices and float down the water. The water is not very swift and it is shallow so it becomes very relaxing.

Perhaps directions ? South on the Trunk a few clicks until you cross a bridge. Its a crappy beach, imho - really steep and more sediment than sand.

It's always a great place to cool off on a hot day and float down the river. I've never stayed overnight though.
