Burns Lake
Highway 16 goes right through the Village of Burns Lake, 222 km west of Prince George. The population of Burns Lake is about 3,600.

Burns Lake is situated in the heart of the Lakes District with thousands of lakes of all sizes and 4,800 km of lake shoreline.

North of Burns Lake is British Columbia's largest fresh water lake called Babine Lake and to the south is the second longest lake in British Columbia, Francois Lake.

There is fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing.

Burns Lake has a number of hotels and motels as well as the Burns Lake Municipal Campground, located next to Spirit Square.
